Steven Atchison has joined the executive team at Orleans Homes as president of the Midwest Division, overseeing day-to-day operations of communities in the Chain’O Lakes region and Fox River Valley, and growing the company’s presence in Chicagoland and beyond.

Orleans Homes has announced the appointment of John Evans as President of its Northeast division, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company’s 15 communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Orleans Homebuilders Inc. is back from bankruptcy, with veterans of the long suburban home-building boom replacing the three generations of the Orleans family who ran the Bensalem-based builder for more than 90 years before the publicly-traded company filed for Chapter 11 protection in 2010.

Coopersburg, PA — On December 11, 2011, Orleans Homes Liberty Village community hosted a children’s holiday event complete with decorating gingerbread cookies, arts and crafts, games, and a Toys-for-Tots donation box.  Close to 25 residents and friends participated in the festivities.

Medford, NJ — To kick off the holiday season, Orleans Homes’ Wildflowers at Medford community hosted a Holiday Open House party in one of the new model homes on December 4, 2011.  Close to 50 people were able to tour the model home in this active adult community.

Valley, PA—November 29, 2011—Orleans Homes, one of the country’s oldest, continually operated home builders, recently invited homeowners of its adjacent Hillview neighborhoods in Chester County (the Courts at Hillview and Hillview Estates) to participate in a new initiative designed to elicit feedback on a series of four new floor plans currently in development for active adult communities for individuals 55+.

Raleigh, NC— On November 20, 2011, Orleans Homes’ The Grove at Weldon Ridge community, located in Cary, NC, hosted a catered Homeowners Appreciation Picnic to bring the community together and introduce long-time homeowners with those new to the neighborhood.  About 40 guests attended the event.

Bensalem, PA (November 11, 2011) – Orleans Homes, one of the country’s oldest continually operated homebuilders, has announced three individuals to serve as the new management team alongside George E. Casey, Jr., President and CEO.  The team will oversee the company’s business operations in 66 communities throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Virginia and Illinois.

Orleans Homes CEO George E. Casey, Jr., told attendees at last week’s Urban Land Institute Annual Fall Meeting in Los Angeles that the housing downturn has given homebuilders an opportunity to reinvent themselves.

New site underscores Orleans’ goal of redefining the home buying experience; features multiple new floor plans, enhanced and interactive design options, video series, and more.

Over the course of her life, Anne Reahm had designed and built six houses in some really great places - Brookhaven, Marchwood, Guthriesville, Marsh Harbor, and Strasburg in Lancaster County, Pa.
