Orleans Homes Names New Northeast Division President
BENSALEM, Pa. – Orleans Homes has announced the appointment of John Evans as President of its Northeast division, overseeing day-to-day operations of the company's 15 communities in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
He will also be responsible for growing the company in Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley and Central New Jersey.
Evans has served as Orleans Homes' corporate controller for the past year, and has nine years' experience in the homebuilding industry, including key roles in the northeast regions of two of the nation's largest homebuilding companies. Most recently he spent four years as Vice-President of finance for Lennar. Previously, he worked in the same capacity at Pulte Homes.
"John's lengthy experience in strategic financial planning for some of the major players in the U.S. homebuilding industry makes him well qualified to help lead Orleans Homes' largest division into the future," says George Casey, Orleans' Chief Executive Officer. "After an extensive national search, we felt that John's experience profile, the respect he had already earned inside of Orleans, and his demonstrated ability to lead made him a natural to take this next career step in our company."
Earlier in his career, Evans served in various financial capacities at Essroc Cement Corporation and Ernst and Young, giving him insights into sound financial strategies in industries beyond homebuilding. Evans, who lives in Lower Makefield Township, Pa. earned his bachelor's degree from Wilkes University and his MBA from DeSales University.
